In this petition, petitioner inter alia seeks for a direction to respondent No.2 to consider the application of the petitioner to release him in parole.
2. When the matter was taken up today, learned Additional Government Advocate submitted that the application filed by the petitioner for releasing him on parole has been rejected by order dated 26.12.2016.
3. In view of the aforesaid submission, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. However, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh application, if so advised.
