JUDGMENT / ORDER

THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE NO.296 OF 2014 DATED 1st AUGUST, 2014 Between:
M/s Shivani Engineering Industries … Petitioner and Sri S. Ravindra Babu … Respondent THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE NO.296 OF 2014 O R D E R Respondent is present in person.
This contempt case was instituted alleging disobedience to the order dated 22.04.2013 passed by this Court in WPMP No.14813 of 2013 in W.P.No.11970 of 2013. By the said order, the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) was directed not to recover any amounts from the petitioner in respect of the stipulated work orders. While so, the APSRTC issued notice dated 20.02.2014 seeking to recover payments from the petitioner towards penalty for late drawal of chassis and late delivery of buses. Alleging that the said action amounted to violation of the order passed by this Court, the writ petitioner filed the present contempt case.
Today, Sri C.Sunil Kumar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for APSRTC, placed on record the letter dated 28.07.2014 addressed by the Chief Mechanical Engineer, Chassis and Bodies, APSRTC, to the petitioner informing it that the notice dated 20.02.2014 stood withdrawn in view of the interim order passed by this Court.
In the light of this development, this contempt case, which is based on the alleged act of violation embodied in the notice dated 20.02.2014, does not survive for consideration and is accordingly closed. No costs.
