1. Called in revise. None appeared on behalf of petitioner.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:
“a/- issue a writ, order or direction including a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 30.8.2003, passed by the Secretary U.P. Secondary Education Service Selection Board Schools (Annexure 6);
b/- issue a writ, order or direction, including a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the Advertisement No. 1/2002 issued by the respondent Board and all the proceedings in pursuance the of insofar it pertains to the post of Principle for the institution in question namely Sardar Patel Inter College Sikaro Koraon Allahabad.
c/- issue a writ, order or direction, including a writ in the nature of mandamus restraining the respondents from interfering in the functioning of the petitioner as officiating Principal of the institution in question;
d/- issue a writ, order or direction including a writ in the nature of mandamus declaring rule 12 of the rules of 1998 as null and void and unconstitutional in inoperative;”
3. However, I have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioner is not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioner has lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for petitioner is absent.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
