Petitioner's wife was working as a House Keeper in Government Shishu Sadan, Rampur and is stated to have died while in service on 29.3.2008. An application for release of family pension was moved by the petitioner and the amount of pension has been disbursed to him w.e.f. 22.11.2012. An application appears to have been moved by the petitioner for payment of interest on the delayed release of family pension and other dues which appears to have been kept pending by the authorities, without any decision taken upon it.
This petition has been filed for a direction upon the authority concerned to award interest to the petitioner on the delayed release of family pension and other dues payable to petitioner's family.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that grievance of petitioner shall be examined, by the authority concerned, in accordance with law.
Considering the facts and circumstances, noticed above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.4 to examine petitioner's grievance with regard to release of interest on the delayed payment of family pension and other dues within a period of three months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
