This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following reliefs:-
"(a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 2 to return the original sale deed furnished as security in pursuance to the interim order of this court dated 20.5.1986 (Annexure-1) passed in Civil Misc. Writ petition No. 175(Tax) of 1986 which was got dismissed as infructuous by efflux of time vide order dated 24.9.1997 (annexure -2).
This petition was filed in the year 2012 seeking the aforesaid relief. There is no interim relief granted to the petitioner by this Court and it appears that by efflux of time, the writ petition has been rendered infructuous.
In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
