By order dated 16.10.2019, this court has appointed Sri Virendra Kumar Agarwal (a retired District Judge) to act as sole arbitrator for resolution of the dispute between the parties. Office was directed to obtain his consent in terms of Section 11(8) of the Act.
The record reveals that Sri Virendra Kumar Agarwal has given his consent to act as sole arbitrator by letter dated 25.10.2019. Accordingly, the parties are permitted to approach the arbitrator, namely Sri Virendra Kumar Agarwal, for settlement of disputes between them.
As agreed to between the parties, the arbitration proceedings shall be conducted at Noida.
The arbitrator shall be entitled to fees and expenses as per IVth Schedule of the Act.
The application stands disposed of accordingly.
