Heard Shri Jitendra Kumar Ojha, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for the State - respondents.
The petitioner, in this writ petition, is seeking payment for the work done under the work order dated 23.12.2011.
According to the petitioner, an amount of Rs. 1,82,685/- is due to him as per document filed as Annexure No. 2 to the writ petition.
No useful purpose will be served by keeping the matter pending. The writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with the consent of learned counsel for the parties with the direction that if the petitioner prefers a fresh representation before the Executive Engineer, Irrigation Division - I, Karwi, Chitrakoot (the respondent no. 2), raising all his grievances as raised in the present writ petition, within a period of 15 days from today, along with a certified copy of this order, the respondent no. 2 shall consider and decide the same, in accordance with law, within a further period of one month, and if the amount is due to be paid to the petitioner, the same shall be paid to him within the same period of time.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merit.
