Heard Sri Jitendra Kumar Ojha, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner in the writ petition is seeking payment for the work done under the work order dated 23.12.2011. According to the petitioner an amount of Rs.1,67,800/- is due to him as per document filed as Annexure-2 to the writ petition.
No useful purpose would be served by keeping this writ petition pending.
The writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with the consent of the learned counsel for the parties with the direction that if the petitioner prefers a fresh representation before the respondent no.2, Executive Engineer, Irrigation Division-I, Karwi, Chitrakoot raising all his grievances as raised in the present writ petition within a period of 15 days from today alongwith the certified copy of this order, the respondent no.2 shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law within a further period of one month and if the amount is due to be paid to the petitioner, the same shall be paid to him within the same period of time.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merits.
