JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 34
Case :- WRIT - A No. - 17763 of 2002 Petitioner :- Shiv Pal Singh Respondent :- District Social Welfare Officer & Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Sufia Saba Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.
Hon'ble Sudhir Agarwal,J.
1. Sri Abdul Mazeed, Advocate holding brief of Ms. Sufia Saba, learned counsel for petitioner, states that he has no instructions in the matter. No other counsel has appeared on behalf of petitioner though the case is called in revise.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief:
"issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of commanding and directing the respondents to make payment of Rs.22000/- as mentioned in para of the writ petition (Ann.9 to the petition) and payment Rs.56990/- as mentioned in para 11 of the writ petition (Ann.10 to the writ petition) with 18% interest per annum from March, 99 to May 2000 and March 1999 to Feb.2001 till the date of payment."
3. However, I have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioner is not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting relief, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioner has lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
