1. Solitary grievance of the petitioner appears to be that his application for removal of encroachment on some public land, referable under Section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, dated 17.09.2019, filed before respondent no.3-Assistant Collector/Teshsildar, Tehsil- Lalganj, District-Azamgarh, has remained pending since then.
2. Besides, the initial order calling for a report, no further action has been taken.
3. No useful purpose would be served in keeping the present petition pending, without entering into the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.3-Assistant Collector/Teshsildar, Tehsil-Lalganj, District-Azamgarh, to decide the aforesaid complaint, as expeditiously as possible, strictly in accordance with law, preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of a copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment after hearing necessary parties.
