Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following ground-
"i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.2 Collector/ District Magistrate to decide the Case No.1353 of 2016, u/s 30 of Revenue Code (Smt. Shiv Kumar Devi Vs. Ashish Kumar and others) expeditiously as possible as within short stipulated period as directed by this Hon'ble Court."
It is stated that a mutation case filed by the petitioner is pending consideration since the year 2016.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2, Collector/ District Magistrate, Jaunpur to endeavour to decide the mutation case of the petitioner expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
