Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not press Relief (1) and submits that the petition may be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the objection which has been taken by him to the recoveries being made.
Learned Standing Counsel representing the first and third respondent states that subject to verification of all facts and contentions on merits being kept open, the representation of the petitioner, shall be duly considered and disposed of with expedition by them and preferably within a period of four months from the date of presentation of a duly authenticated copy of this order alongwith a copy of the writ petition and its enclosures.
Accordingly and without going into the merits or otherwise of the claim of the petitioner, this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement, which is noted and recorded above.
