Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for respondent nos. 1 to 3 and Sri Azad Rai, learned counsel for respondent no. 4.
It is contended that a report has been submitted by Lekhpal regarding certain encroachment made by some of the villagers over Gata No. 9M which is recorded as pond.
The petitioner had initiated the proceedings under Section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 but no action has been taken by revenue authorities.
In view of said fact, respondent no. 3 is directed to look into the matter and pass appropriate orders in proceedings under Section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006.
Writ petition stands disposed of.
