JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner in these three petitions is the same. He is one of the accused in three cases now pending before the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Kunnamangalam. One is C.C. No.358/2013, the other is C.C.No.918/2013 and the third one is C.C No.1038/2013. The petitioner herein is now included in the rank list published by the Kerala Public Service Commission for the appointment of Police Constable. He wants clearance from all criminal prosecutions before getting advice from the Public Service Commission. In such a situation, he seeks orders for expeditious disposal of the three cases wherein he is accused. No doubt, his request is genuine. As required by this Court the learned Magistrate submitted a report regarding the present stage of the three cases. The learned Magistrate hopes that the cases can be disposed of within three months. The Court of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kunnamangalam is not a light court. However, the learned Magistrate is confident, and he hopes, that the cases O.P(Crl) Nos.195, 196, 197 of 2014 2 could be disposed of within a period of three months. The report submitted by the learned Magistrate is recorded, and the three petitions are disposed of with direction to the learned Magistrate to dispose of the three cases as expeditiously as possible, within the constraints faced by the learned Magistrate, considering the genuine request of the petitioner.
