JUDGMENT / ORDER

Antony Dominic, J. Petitioner has filed this writ petition alleging that his fiancee Ms.Shilpa Vijayan, is being illegally detained by the 3rd respondent, her father. According to the petitioner, they wanted to get married and were in fact living together. It is stated that, while so, she was forcefully taken away by respondents 2 and 3. With this allegation, he has filed this writ petition with a prayer for a writ of habeas corpus.
2. Considering the nature of the allegations, this Court passed order dated 13/6/14 directing production of the alleged detenue. Accordingly, she was produced before us today and we interacted with her. She denied the allegation of the petitioner that she is being illegally detained by her father or anybody else. According to her, she is happily living with her parents and she has no complaint whatsoever against them.
3. Evidently therefore, the allegation of the petitioner that his fiancee is being illegally detained by her father is proved to be

incorrect. In such circumstances, writ petition merits only dismissal and we do so.
Although the petitioner has made several reckless allegations in the writ petition against the detenue and we strongly disapprove the same, we are neither referring to that or deal with the same lest it can cause damage to the detenue only.
