Heard learned counsel for the parties.
By the instant writ petition, petitioner seeks the following relief:
"Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 (District Magistrate, Kushinagar) to consider and decide the application dated 20.11.2018 for grant of firearm license to the petitioner moved under Section 13 of Arms Act, 1959 for granting the license of single barrel gun to the petitioner."
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the second respondent shall consider and decide the claim of the petitioner.
In view thereof, without entering into the merit of the case, the writ petition is being finally disposed of directing that the second respondent, Licensing Authority/District Magistrate, Kushinagar, shall consider and decide the application (dated 20.11.2018) of the petitioner by a reasoned and speaking order, in accordance with law, expeditiously within three months from the date of filing of copy of this order along with copy of the application.
