From the relief claimed in the writ petition, we find that the petitioner is seeking quashing of the order dated 20.8.2009 whereby the petitioner was given 15 days time to submit his explanation to the enquiry report. The other relief claimed is that the respondents may not interfere with the functioning of the petitioner as President of Nagar Palika Parishad, Chandpur, District Bijnor.
It is informed by Sri Gaurav Singh, learned Standing Counsel that the tenure of the President of Nagar Palika Parishad is five years and more than 9 years have already passed.
In view of above, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
Interim order, if any, is vacated.
