The petitioner in the writ petition is seeking quashing of the order dated 13.10.2009, whereby the petitioner has been removed from the post of President of Nagarpalika Parishad, Chandpur, District Bijnor.
It is pointed out by Sri Prashant Mathur, Learned Standing Counsel that even otherwise, the tenure of the President of Nagarpalika Parishad is only five years under the Nagar Mahapalika Adhiniyam, 1959 and, therefore, the writ petition has become infructuous.
In view of the above, we find that the writ petition has become infructuous by efflux of time and is, accordingly, dismissed as such.
