This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to file final report in Crime No.95 of 2016 on the file of the second respondent police.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that originally the complaint was lodged before the first respondent on 26.03.2014 and since it was not registered, on the direction of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.30823 of 2014 dated 20.01.2016, the complaint was registered on 16.03.2016, but till now, no final report has been filed.
3. Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.95 of 2016 pending on the file of the second respondent, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
