The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that while the appeal filed against the order dated 12.10.2020 was still pending before the Court of District Magistrate, the order dated 12.10.2020 which was passed in a proceeding under section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, by means of a notice dated 28.2.2021, was being sought to be implemented.
Under such circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, it is, therefore, directed that the appeal being Appeal No.373 of 2021 (Computerized Case No.D- 202115060000298) (Sheela Singh vs. State) be decided within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order after hearing the parties concerned, if there is no other legal impediment. It is further ordered that till the decision of the appeal, the order dated 12.10.2020 shall remain stayed.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
