Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the State respondents.
The petition has been filed seeking the following relief-
"a) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 for expeditious disposal of case No.T20161436062016 filed under Section 116 of U.P. Revenue Code 2006 in the year 2016 (Shakuntla Devi & others Vs. Kalpnath & others) within stipulated time fixed by this Hon'ble Court.
It has been stated that a partition suit filed by the petitioner is pending consideration since the year 2016.
Learned counsel for the petitioner admits that till date, only the written statement has been filed and the issues have not yet been framed.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Madiyahun, District Jaunpur to endeavour to decide the suit of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of eighteen months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
