THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, CHIEF JUSTICE MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondents. By consent, the matter is taken up for final disposal.
2. Perused the notice/endorsement (Annexure-E) dated 23rd April 2019. The Deputy Commissioner has informed the petitioner by the said notice that the demand draft issued by the petitioner towards the fee of conversion is being returned.
The petitioner is informed that after examining the application made by the petitioner, the fine / land conversion fee will be intimated to him by a notice.
3. The notice/endorsement at Annexure-E is of 23rd April 2019. The fine / land conversion fee ought to have been informed to the petitioner within a reasonable time.
4. Accordingly, we dispose of this petition with a direction to the third respondent to ensure that the fine / land conversion fee is computed and intimated to the petitioner within a maximum period of four week from today.
