This Writ Petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct to the R-2 to consider the representations of the petitioner firm dated 13.02.2017 at Annexure-J and representation given to the director by the petitioner dated 16.02.2017 at Annexure-K and representation given to the director by the petitioner dated 21.02.2017 at Annexure-L in accordance with law, and etc.
This petition coming on Preliminary Hearing for this day, THE CHIEF JUSTICE made the following:
ORDER Issue notice.
Mr.V.G.Bhanuprakash, learned additional government advocate, accepts notice for the respondent Nos.1 to 4. Therefore, formal service of notice to them is dispensed with.
2. The writ petitioner is aggrieved as the prayer for renewal of the quarrying licence was not considered by the authorities.
3. We feel that justice will be subserved if we direct the Deputy Commissioner, Ramanagara District, who has been the Chairman of the District Task Force Committee, to call for a meeting of such Committee and to consider the request of the writ petitioner for renewal of the licence in such meeting, within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.
4. The writ petition stands disposed of.
5. There will be no order as to costs.
