Heard Shri J.P. Singh counsel for the petitioner; Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.1 and 2; and Shri Kuldeep Singh Chauhan for respondent No.3.
By an earlier order, the counsel for the respondents was required to seek instructions from Nagar Panchayat, Bilram, District Kasganj.
Today, the instructions so received by the counsel for the Nagar Panchayat is placed before the Court.
According to the said instructions so received, the petitioner is entitled to get Rs.1,14,694/-. It is further stated that the entire outstanding amount will be given to the petitioner during the month of March, 2019. As the matter in dispute relates to the year 2015 and more than about four years have elapsed since then, but no payment was made to the petitioner.
It is directed that the Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Bilram, District Kasganj shall ensure that the outstanding dues as stated in the instructions dated 21st February, 2019 shall be paid to the petitioner along with 6% interest.
The entire exercise shall be completed by 31st March, 2019.
An affidavit regarding the compliance of the order of the Court shall be filed by the Executive Officer on or before 2nd April, 2019, if the payment is not made by the said date respondent No.3, i.e., Executive Officer shall be present in Court personally.
Shri Kuldeep Singh Chauhan, counsel for the respondent-Panchayat is directed to inform the Executive Officer about the order in writing within three days.
