Public Prosecutor ORDER The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.538 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report before the concerned Court within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that she has lodged a complaint with the first respondent police as against one Malathi and Parthiban and the same was registered in Crime No.538 of 2015. Though the said complaint was registered as early as in the year 2015, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.
3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.538 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report, if not already filed, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
