JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 4, apart from perusing the record. Since the issue lies in a narrow compass, this Court proposes to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage itself. 2. Briefly stated, the petitioner was appointed as Assistant Teacher in the 5th respondent School against a regular vacancy in different spells beginning from 18.10.2006. Ext.P1 reflects on such appointment. When Staff Fixation Order was issued through Ext.P2 for the academic year 2014- 2025, nine posts were retrenched. Despite the petitioner continuing as a special teacher for many years, the petitioner's name was not included in the Teachers' Bank consequent upon the abolition of nine posts. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioner W.P.(C.) No. 26671/2014 -2-
filed Ext.P5 revision before the 2nd respondent, who is yet to consider it on merits. Thus, complaining of non disposal of Ext.P5 revision, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition. In the facts and circumstances, having regard to the respective submissions of the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, this Court, without adverting to the merits of the matter, disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider Ext.P5 revision, if it is received and pending, in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. No order as to costs.
