Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State- respondents.
By means of this writ petition the petitioner claims that she is eligible under the "Krishak Durghatna Bima Yojna". The husband of the petitioner died in an accident on 8.3.2017, The petitioner applied to the National Insurance Company. The Insurer, National Insurance Company rejected the claim of the petitioner on 22.8.2017.
Under the Scheme it is submitted that the District Magistrate is the final authority. As such, the petitioner has already moved an application before the District Magistrate, which has remained pending.
The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the District Magistrate-respondent no.1 to look into the the claim of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
