JUDGMENT / ORDER

Ashok Bhushan, Ag.C.J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader. No notice is being issued to respondent Nos.1 to 3 in view of the order which is being passed.
2. By this writ petition the petitioner has prayed for a mandamus directing respondents 4 and 5 to accord police protection to the life of the petitioner, his wife and children. A complaint was submitted by the petitioner with regard to an incident dated 13.07.2014 on which a First Information Report has already been registered as Crime No.368 of 2014. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even thereafter the petitioner has received several threats from the party respondents.
3. Learned Government Pleader submits that no further complaints were received after the incident dated 13.07.2014. In the facts and circumstances of the case we are of the view that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending and calling for further affidavits.
WP(C) No. 32052 of 2014 -:2:-
The Writ Petition is closed with the observation that as and when offence is committed or attempt to commit offence, it shall be open for the petitioner to file appropriate complaint before concerned station house officer, who may look into the same.
Ashok Bhushan, Acting Chief Justice.
