JUDGMENT / ORDER

Nearly 8 years have passed since the respondents have been served with notice of the petition. So far no reply has been filed. In the meantime, the petitioner had been appearing for hearing on various occasions. It was not sufficient for the respondents to take any steps for filing reply. Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned AGP requested for time for filing reply.
Looking to the disputes involved in the petition, it is not possible to proceed without a proper reply from the Government. Therefore, even while granting time for filing reply, it is on condition that respondent no.2 shall deposit sum of Rs.2500/- with HC-NIC Page 1 of 2 Created On Wed Nov 09 00:56:37 IST 2016 SCA/11939/2004 2/2 ORDER the Gujarat State Legal Services Authority within two weeks from today. Only upon fulfilling such condition, reply shall be taken on record.
To be placed after two weeks.
