1. Called in revise. None appeared to press this writ petition. Learned Standing Counsel is present for respondents. In the circumstances, we ourselves have perused the record.
2. By means of present writ petition, petitioner has sought following reliefs:
"(i) a suitable writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari be issued quashing the notices dated 09.09.2003 (Annexure No. 7) and notice dated 14.02.2006 (Annexure No. 15) issued by Respondent Nos. 8 and 6.
(ii) suitable writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the letter dated 24th June 2005 (Annexure No. 9) issued by Respondent no. 7 calling upon the bankers for a refund of subsidy of Rs. 11.379 lakhs released towards the capital subsidy for the expansion of the cold storage of the petitioner.
(iii) a suitable writ, order or direction in the nature of prohibition of mandamus prohibiting or directing the respondents, their officers, servants and agents in proceeding in any manner in pursuance of the notice dated 24th June 2005 (Annexure No. 9) issued by the Respondent No. 7 and in pursuance to the notices dated 09.09.2005 and 14.02.2006 issued by Respondent Nos. 8 and 6 respectively."
3. We ourselves have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioner is not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or the petitioner has lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for petitioner is absent.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
