Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record.
This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the court below for early decision of Criminal Revision No. 506 of 2017 (Preeti Pahwa Vs. Stat of U.P.), arising out of Case Crime No. 557 of 2016, under Sections- 420, 467, 468, 471, 504, 506 I.P.C., Police Station- Sadar Bazar, District- Meerut, pending before the learned Addl. District Judge- X, Meerut.
Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is the informant. The opposite party nos. 2 and 3 filed a discharge application which was rejected. Against the same, they have filed a criminal revision which is pending before the learned Addl. District Judge, Meerut being Criminal Revision No. 506 of 2017.
Considering the fact that the applicant/informant is 90 years of age, the present application is disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide the aforesaid revision in accordance with law, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, as expeditiously as possible, necessarily within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
