Shanti Alias Gyanmati vs State Of U.P.

High Court Of Judicature at Allahabad|29 January, 2010

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned Additional Government Advocate.
It is argued that the grand-father-in-law and the grand-mother-in- law of the deceased have been granted bail by different orders ofthis Court. The allegations are general in nature. The applicant is the mother-in-law and her case cannot be distinguished from the case of the other co-accused, who have been granted bail.
Learned AGA could not dispute this position although he opposed the prayer for bail.
Having considered the submissions of the parties and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, let the applicant- Shanti alias Gyanmati, involved in case crime No. 995 of 2009, under sections 498-A/304-B IPC and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, police station Kolhuee, district Maharajganj, be released on bail on her furnishing a personal bond with two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Court concerned.
