Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The relief prayed for in the present writ petition has been confined to the consideration of the application made in Case No. 244 of 2007-08 (New No. 88 of 2008-09) pending before respondent no.1.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, I am of the considered opinion that it would be appropriate to provide that the application made by the petitioner in Case No. 244 of 2007-08 may be considered and decided by respondent no.1 at the earliest possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. It is ordered accordingly.
The present writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
