Petitioners are accused Nos.1 to 3 in Crime No.119/2014 of Edacherry Police Station, Kozhikode District. The offences alleged against them are punishable under Secs.323, 406 and 498A r/w 34 of IPC. The de facto complainant, who is the first respondent is represented in this Court by her counsel. Affidavit has been filed by the de- facto complainant/first respondent stating that the entire matter has been settled and that she does not intend to proceed further in the matter.
Hence, in the light of the settlement so arrived at, this Crl.M.C. is allowed. Further proceedings against these petitioners in Crime No.119/2014 of Edacherry Police Station, Kozhikode District is quashed.
