High Court Of Kerala|12 December, 2014
|

JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has submitted an application for the grant of a building permit to conduct a distributorship of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). However, by Ext.P5 his application was rejected, for the reason that the road providing access to the premises do not have a uniform width of 7 metres as stipulated by the Rules. According to the petitioner, he has submitted a fresh application along with Ext.P6 sketch providing a different means of access. The access road according to the petitioner satisfies the requirements of law. Ext.P6 has been acknowledged receipt of. Therefore the petitioner seeks the issue appropriate directions for the consideration thereof. 2. Advocate Gopikrishnan Nambiar appears for the second respondent. In the nature of the relief that I propose to grant, I do not consider it necessary to issue notice to the first respondent.
2 W.P.(C).No.33625 of 2014 This writ petition is, therefore, disposed of, directing the first respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner for building permit, acknowledged receipt of by Ext.P6, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of one month of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
