The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to expedite the hearing of Original Suit No. 251 of 2010.
A perusal of the order sheet reveals that on 10.10.2018, the Court heard the parties in part and fixed 19.12.2018, but thereafter, an amendment application was filed resulting in stalling of the hearing.
Having regard to the facts of the case and the submissions made, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to make serious endeavour to decide the suit expeditiously, by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments.
