Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The petitioners, who claims to be the members of the General Body of the Committee, Sri Annu Rai Inter College, Chaura, Ballia, which is recognized under the U.P. Intermediate Education Act, 1929, imparting education up to Intermediate level, filed this Writ Petition seeking direction to the Assistant Registrar, Firms, Societies & Chits, Azamgarh Region, Azamgarh, respondent No.3 for deciding the representation filed by them on 10.11.2019 and 4.12.2019, copy of the same has been appended as Annexure Nos.5 & 6 to the Writ Petition respectively.
It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners are the members of the General Body, but their names were not included in the list sent by the Assistant Registrar, Firms, Societies & Chits, Azamgarh Region, Azamgarh, respondent No.3 to the District Inspector of Schools for holding election. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners filed representation, but the same has not been decided by the Assistant Registrar, Firms, Societies & Chits, Azamgarh Region, Azamgarh, respondent No.3 till date.
Under these circumstances, direction is issued to the Assistant Registrar, Firms, Societies & Chits, Azamgarh Region, Azamgarh, respondent No.3 to decide the representation of the petitioners dated 10.11.2019 and 4.12.2019, appended as Annexure Nos.5 & 6 to the Writ Petition as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
