This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following relief:
" a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents particularly respondent no. 2 to correct the entry of date of birth of petitioner in the passport no. N3357438 issued on 17.9.2015 in favour of petitioner by the respondent no. 2 under section 5(1) of the Passport Act,1967 within some stipulated period of time which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper."
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case,the petitioner is directed to ventilate his grievances in accordance with the Passport Rules before the passport authority. It is expected that the concerned authority shall do the needful in the matter if the petitioner approaches it for redressal of his grievances in accordance with aw.
With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of finally.
