Heard the learned State Public Prosecutor.

It is submitted that at least a month's time is required to get copy of the records of C.C.No.163 of 2012 of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-II, Thrissur received in this Court in connection with Crl.R.P.No.31588 of 2013. Learned magistrate, vide letter dated 28.02.2014 has requested six months' time to dispose of C.C.No.163 of 2012.
3. Having regard to the circumstances, I am inclined to extent time. The following directions are issued:
(i) Prosecuting agency shall obtain certified copies of the relevant records in C.C.No.163 of 2012 as early as possible, at any rate within a month from this day and forward the same to the law officer concerned.
(ii) Learned Judicial First Class Magistrate-II Thrissur is directed to dispose of C.C.No.163 of 2012 within three months from this day.
Registry shall communicate the order to the Judicial First Class Magistrate.
