JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner is aggrieved with the decision of the Regional Transport Authority, Thiruvananthapuram (Rural) at Exhibit P2, wherein, while considering an application for renewal of permit and replacement of the vehicle in the route Thannimoodu - Venjaramoodu, the same was granted only subject to settlement of timings. The objection is only insofar as the RTA having no authority to tinker with settlement of timings when granting a renewal of permit. 2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that, in any event, the settlement was granted as indicated in Exhibit P2 and the petitioner is running the service with the aforesaid set of timings.
3. In the above circumstance, the writ petition need not be kept pending. If the petitioner has any grievance with the settlement of timings and if the petitioner intends to seek a revision of timings, the petitioner would be entitled to do it, before the appropriate forum.
The writ petition would stand closed with the above observation.
