JUDGMENT / ORDER

1. After arguing the matter for sometime, Mr. D.P. Vora, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has already made representations to respondent no. 1-authority and that the same has not been decided so far. He has, therefore submitted that appropriate directions may be issued to respondent no. 1-authority to consider and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible.
2. Heard learned counsel for the parties. Looking to the facts of the case and in view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, respondent no. 1- State shall consider the representation made by the petitioner and pending before it, by taking into consideration the decisions rendered by this Court in Special Civil Application No. 14642 of 2003 dated 19.04.2004 and Special Civil Application No. 6992 of 2002 and allied matters dated 09.03.2006 as also the Government Resolutions dated 16.04.1998 and 29.09.2004, and decide the same within a period of three months from today, in accordance with law. It is, however, clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
3. With the above direction, the petition stand disposed of.
Direct Service is permitted.
