The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to select new Administrative Committee by conducting fair General Body Election to the petitioner's Jamaath, namely, Sattur Jamia Masjid (rhj;Jhh; $hkpah gs;spthry;) Sattur, Virudhunagar District.
2. It is stated that the petitioner's Sathur Jamia Masjid has been created about 400 years ago by the Jamaath. The rule of selecting the Administrative Committee (Muthavallis) is by election by the Muslim Jamaath of Sattur according to custom and usage. The tenure of the last Administrative Committee has been ended on 12.09.2016. Therefore, the Jamaathars including the petitioner have sent representations on 31.10.2016 and 08.12.2016. Since no action has been taken, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. Though the petitioner has sought for the larger relief as above, the learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the representation dated 08.12.2016 submitted by the petitioner may be directed to be considered by the first respondent.
4. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, who would submit that if a reasonable time is granted to the first respondent, appropriate orders will be passed on the representation of the petitioner.

In view of the above submission and also considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.12.2016 and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
