Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(1) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the court of Tehsildar, Machhali Shahar, District Jaunpur to hear and decide the mutation case No. 1578 of 2018, Computer case No. T-201814360301578 of 2018 (Shakuntala Devi vs. Bind Kumar) under section 34 L.R. Act expeditiously, preferably within the period to be specified by this Hon'ble Court."
It is stated that a mutation case filed by the petitioner is pending consideration since the year 2018.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2/Tehsildar, Machhali Shahar, District Jaunpur to decide the mutation case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
