The writ petition has been filed for mandamus directing respondent-2 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 4.11.2017 filed for payment of gratuity.
In the representation, it has been stated that husband of the petitioner was in service of UP State Bridge Corporation Ltd. He died in harness on 12.3.2000. Since then his gratuity has not been paid.
Without entering into the controversy raised by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to Secretary, respondent-2 to decide the representation of the petitioner by reasoned and speaking order within a period of six weeks from the date of producing a certified copy of this order before the authority concerned.
