Heard Sri Ravindra Prakash Srivastava, learned counsel for the applicant and Sri V. K. Pandey, learned AGA appearing for the State.
This anticipatory bail application moved on behalf of applicant praying to enlarge him on bail in Case Crime No.96 of 2019, under Sections 3/5A/8 of Cow Slaughter Act and 11 Animal Cruelty Act, Police Station Chawani, District Basti.
It has been contended by the counsel for the applicant that the applicant has been falsely implicated in the present case. The applicant has no criminal antecedent to his credit. Therefore, the applicant may be enlarged on anticipatory bail.
Learned AGA appearing for the State opposed the bail and submitted that it has not been disputed that the applicant is the owner of the truck in question, therefore, he cannot deny his responsibility with regard to use of the vehicle.
Looking to the aforesaid facts and circumstances, no case for grant of any indulgence has been made out.
Accordingly, the present Anticipatory bail is rejected.
