It is brought to the notice by the learned counsel for opposite party Sri Ram Prakash, Advocate holding the brief of Sri Devendra Kumar that the present application has been filed for compliance of interim order passed by the writ Court.
During the pendency of the present contempt application the writ petition being Writ A No. 31007 of 2012 (Shakeel vs. State of U.P. and others) is dismissed by this Court vide order dated 23.2.2018 on the ground of alternative remedy by way of statutory appeal.
In view of the aforesaid, the present contempt application has become infructuous, accordingly the same is dismissed. Notices, if any, stands discharged.
