JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioners are the accused in CC 1867/2013 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Pattambi.
2. They are alleged to have committed the offences under Sections 406 and 498(A) I.P.C. It is submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties.
3. Heard.
4. The de facto-complainant is the wife of the first accused.
Accused No. 2 is his mother and the other accused are his sisters. The de facto-complainant who is the second respondent has entered appearance through a counsel and filed an affidavit to the effect that the matter has been settled and she is now residing with the petitioners 1 and 2 and the Criminal Case against the petitioners need not be proceeded with.
I am satisfied that the facts of the case justify quashing of the proceedings in the Criminal Case.
Cr.M.C. No.3122 /2014 2 In the result, this petition is allowed. The proceedings in CC 1867/2013 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Pattambi are quashed.
