JUDGMENT / ORDER

The grievance raised in the above writ petition is only with respect to deployment of employees from Petrochemical Division of the respondent-Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Limited. The petitioners herein, who are the senior most employees, among those 28 employees indicated in Ext.P1; claim that they were transferred to another division, which was not proper going by their seniority. In any event, the Standing Counsel for the first respondent submits that they were deployed on work arrangement, in the nature of deputation due to expediency of situation; for three months. On expiry of the three months period they have been permitted to come back to the Petrochemical Division. The 1st and 3rd petitioners, it is stated, has refused and the 2nd petitioner is said to have been re- posted to the Petrochemical Division. In such circumstance, there would be no purpose in keeping the writ petition pending. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. jma //true copy// Sd/-
