Heard Sushil Kumar Dubey, learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned AGA and perused the impugned F.I.R, as well as material brought on record.
The relief sought in this petition is for quashing of the F.I.R, dated 12.12.2018 registered as Case Crime No. 0758 of 2018, under sections 3 of the Prevention of Damages to Public Property Act, P.S. Kotwali, District Etawah.
We are not impressed with the contention of learned counsel for the petitioner that the offence, if any is committed by the driver of the offending vehicle, as admittedly petitioner is the owner of the vehicle in question and an offence under Section 3 of the Act cannot be ruled out, cognizable offences are disclosed.
The writ petition is dismissed.
