Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Diwakar Singh for the Gaon Sabha, respondent no. 3.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(i) To issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent No. 7 to decide the Revision No. C201802000000855 (Shail Kumari and another Versus State of U.P. and others) within specific period."
It has been stated that a revision against an order passed in proceedings under Section 33/39 of the U.P. Land Revenue Act filed in May 2018 is pending before the Commissioner.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 7 to decide the revision as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
